AMSER Case of the Month
Submission Information
AMSER (The Alliance of Medical Student Educators in Radiology) is soliciting cases from medical students for the AMSER Case of the Month which will be published on our website as a peer-reviewed electronic publication. These are meant to be straightforward cases that utilize the ACR Appropriateness Criteria with an emphasis on the radiologic work up of the case, the findings, and a short discussion. They will initially be published as PDFs but we may switch to a more interactive web based format. Please remember to cite your references in your discussions and figures appropriately. Cases will be returned without proper citations. At least 3 citations are required.
Please follow the format of the published cases and template and send it as a PowerPoint which the editor can make changes to if necessary. Before submitting, please review your case with an attending-level physician who is an AMSER member.
Once the editors have reviewed your case, we will let you know their decision via e-mail. Cases submitted by the 7th of each month will be considered for publication for the subsequent month. Later submissions will be considered for month after next.
Where to Submit
Email your PowerPoint to [email protected] as a ppt file using the following naming convention:
